How to Root Root ZUK Edge Without PC: ZUK recently launched its latest and budget friendly smartphone known as ZUK Edge. It comes packed with 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 1080 x 1920-pixel resolution, powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35GHz with Adreno 530 GPU, paired with 4GB / 6GB, 64GB of internal storage and can be expandable up to 512GB through microSD. ZUK Edge runs on the stock version of Android v7.0 Nougat with ZUI 2.5

It sports a 13MP Autofocus rear camera with LED flash and has an 8MP front-facing shooter with Moonlight flash. It supports Dual SIM connectivity feature with dual standby that allows the user to use both the numbers at a time. Other than this the smartphone is equipped with connectivity features like 4G VoLTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and has a 3,100 mAh battery for a long battery life.

By rooting your ZUK Edge, you can run the latest version of Android on your smartphone through different types of custom ROMs. To root your ZUK Edge follow the steps given below.

Prerequisites:

Before rooting your, ZUK Edge makes sure that your phone battery is 100%.

Before starting the rooting process create a backup of your phone, you will not lose any data from your phone by rooting, but it is better to create a backup for safety.

Installation via Unknown sources should be enabled on your device. To enable it to go to Settings > Security > Mark Unknown Sources.

How to Root LenovoZUK Edge without PC

Step 1: After downloading Kingo root.apk on your phone copy the app to the internal storage of your ZUK Edge.

Step 2: Open the file manager that you are using on your ZUK Edge and browse the Super-root.apk that you have copied to the internal storage of your phone.

Step 3: Now install the Kingo root apk on your device. Once the app gets installed, you will be able to see the app in the apps drawer.

Step 4: Make sure that you are connected to the internet. Choose a strong internet connection like Wifi or 3G connectivity.

Step 5: Now open the Kingo root app from the app drawer of your device.

Step 6: The rooting process will not take much time. The process will be completed within  1-2 minutes.

Step 7: Once the rooting process is completed in your ZUK Edge, Reboot your device once.

That’s it; you have successfully rooted your ZUK Edge.
