Although, Apple has not announced the latest iPhone 6S in India yet, an online retailer in India is selling the smartphone for Rs 58,990. The online retailer Shopmonk has listed the Apple iPhone 6S for Rs 58,990 (16GB) with non-refund policy. The listing mentions the unit as International model, which basically means the device has imported to sell in the country.
The Apple iPhone 6S features a 4.7-inch LED-backlit widescreen display of 1334 x 750-pixel resolution with 326ppi pixel density. The retina HD display also features the new 3G touch feature, which basically a pop screen which occurs due to force touch allows you to perform some quick tasks while using the supported apps such as Twitter and Camera app.
The smartphone has been powered by an A9 chip with 64-bit architecture. At the camera front, it has a 12-megapixel iSight rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing FacetTime HD camera.
The rear camera unit is capable of recording videos in 4K, Full HD, and HD resolution. The front camera is capable of recording 720p HD videos. It also has a fingerprint sensor, built into the home button. The new fingerprint sensor much more responsive then what we have seen in the earlier version of iPhone.
Connectivity on the phone is covered by 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. The smartphone also features a 1715 mAh battery, which non-removable as always.
The latest iPhone 6S runs on the latest iOS 9. It comes in Space Gray, Silver, Rose Gold and Gold color options from the retailer.
