Microsoft has finally launched its most anticipated and the flagship Lumia 950 / 950 XL in India on Monday. The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL has been priced at Rs 49399 whereas the smaller Microsoft Lumia 950 has been priced at Rs 43699. Both the smartphones are currently available for pre-order on Amazon India. The shipment date has been set for December 11.

Interestingly, as a promotional offer Microsoft will be giving the Microsoft Display Dock worth Rs 5999 for free with each pre-ordered Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL. The offer is limited and bound to the terms and conditions by the company.

The Microsoft Display Dock is powered by Windows Continuum and allows you to connect your Microsoft Lumia phone to the external screen using the Dock. When connected to the monitor via Microsoft Display Dock, you can use your phone as a PC and run the Microsoft universal apps.

The Microsoft Display Dock currently support Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. But, you can expect it to support more Lumia devices in future. The Microsoft Display Dock is capable of transmitting Full HD resolution contents to an external monitor.

Coming to the Microsoft Lumia 950 X, It is a Windows 10 for mobile running smartphone and features a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Under the hood, it has been powered by the latest Snapdragon Quad-core processor clocked at 2GHz paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage. Other specifications in the phone include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, 20-megapxiel PureView rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and Microsoft Hellow.  A 3340 mAh battery will keep the phone’s lights on.

Coming to the smaller Microsoft Lumia 950, the only difference here is in battery and display department. The Lumia 950 sports a smaller 5.2-inch HD display along with a 3000 mAh battery. Under the hood, it has been powered by an Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz.

Apart from Microsoft Windows Continuum and  Microsoft Display Dock, Microsoft also introduced Windows Hellow with these smartphones. Windows Hellow is a new technology that allows you to unlock your phone with your eyes.
