Microsoft has scheduled its next event on 6th October and the company will be announcing its new high-end Lumia smartphones in the same event. However, the new set of leaks shows the upcoming Lumia 950, Lumia 950XL and the low-end Lumia 550 in pictures.
Looking at the design of the high-end Lumia’s they look more like previous Lumia’s and better than what we have seen in the previous leaks.
Lumia 950 Specification: Lumia 950 will feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Company has packed it with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage. There is no news about the SD card slot in the device.
Coming to the processor of the device, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Hexa core processor of undisclosed speed. At the camera front, you can find a 20MP PureView rear camera with OIS and dual flash. At the front it has a 5 megapixel front facing camera for video calling needs.
Company has packed the smartphone with a 3000 mAh battery, which can charged using the new USB Type-C port. It will be running on Windows 10 (for phones) with Microsoft apps.
Lumia 950 XL Specification: On the other hand the Lumia 950 XL will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-core processor with Adreno 430 graphics.
At the camera front, there will be a 20 megapixel Pureview camera with OIS and triple LED flash. At the camera front, it comes with a 5MP front facing for video calling needs.
Lumia 950 XL will also come packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Then again, there is no news about the SD card slot in the phone.
Compared to Lumia 950 , the Lumia 950 XL packs a slightly larger 3300 mAh battery to keep its lights on.
The Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL will finally debut the much hyped Windows Hello technology.
Lumia 550 Specification: The third smartphone by Microsoft would be the low-end Lumia 550. It will feature a 5-inch HD resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz Quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There is a 8GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot with upto 128GB support.
At the camera front, it comes with a 5MP auto focus rear camera with a LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera for video calling needs. A 1905 mAh battery will keep its lights on.
