BlackBerry India has announced the launch of its new 4G enabled smartphone named as BlackBerry Leap in India today. It is a mid-range device and has been priced at Rs 21490. The BlackBerry Leap was originally announced back at MWC 2015 earlier this year.
The BlackBerry Leap sports a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixel resolution display, powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with Adreno 225 GPU for gaming needs. Under the hood, it comes packed with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot for memory expansion.
The BlackBerry Leap runs on BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 and comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS for navigation. At the camera front, it comes with a 8MP rear camera with a LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera for video calling needs.
The BlackBerry Leap measures 9.5 mm thick and weighs around 170 grams including a 2800 mAh battery.
The BlackBerry Leap has been priced at Rs 21490 and comes in Grey color.
