Earlier this year during Mobile World Congress event BlackBerry teased a dual curved slider smartphone with a large touch screen display running on BlackBerry OS 10. Now the specifications and release date of the smartphone has surfaced online. According the source, the device has been codenamed as Venice.
If the rumors have to be believed, the BlackBerry Venice will feature a 5.4-inch Quad HD display, powered by a 1.8GHz Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. At the camera front, it comes with a 18MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera for video calling needs. The device is also expected to support 4G LTE connectivity onboard.
In a recent report published by Reuters, it was tipped that the upcoming BlackBerry smartphone will boot Android out of the box. The device is rumored to go official in November 2015
